books on scouting football

    Not sure if this is the right board for this topic. But i wanted to quickly see about the best book(s) on scouting. I wanted to see if one book did both team scouting (prepare to play a team) as well as people scouting.(scouting for college and pro teams)

    I assume you're talking baseball and, if so, I second "Dollar Sign on the Muscle." Haven't read it in a while, but it's a classic:


    SABR put out a great book of biographies and essays on baseball scouts a couple years ago:


    If you're trying to learn how to scout, I suggest finding a few scouts and talking to them. Here's a few good ones:

    I've never seen one or heard of one, Sportsnut (not to say they aren't out there). Maybe you should hire an agent and make a pitch to a few publishers.
