    Say he does get to 756. Do you think the television coverage of him will go down a little bit? If so, how much and when?

    I think it'll take a drop everywhere but on the West Coast and ESPN about a week after he breaks the record. I just can't wait until I can watch the Dodgers and Diamondbacks play a more meaningful game on ESPN. Of course, I doubt we'd see that on Saturday night, anyway.

    Obviously, the coverage everywhere but San Francisco will tail off greatly as soon as he breaks the record.

    ESPN won't even show his next game once he breaks the record, unless it's already scheduled.

    I know they won't show the full games as soon as there's nothing to chase. But will he still be at the top of the highlights? Will the scrutiny subside? ...
