    Houston's starting pitcher has given up two homers in the first inning. Neither was hit by Barry Bonds. He walked.

    actually that was one homer and one triple. but neither was hit by bonds.

    “The American public is very forgiving,” (Fay} Vincent said. “Look at Bill Clinton. Look at Richard Nixon.”

    Yeah, those guys sure were welcomed back to the fold with hugs and apricot juice.

    Funniest CNN ticker moment in history. In the line about the kid who caught No. 714, the ticker said "the 19-year-old fan who caught the ball says he will not give it to Bonds. "I hate that guy," he said.
