Obama is hungry to launch those missiles.

No reason to ignore it. ;)

(Though, the fact Assad is a member of a formerly oppressed minority is a big part of the story. If he falls, they will get slaughtered.)

    And, frankly, we should.

Not sure why we lob missiles at Syria, but remain friendly with the new Egyptian regime, but that's a debate for after said missile lobbing.

I'm interested to see if Syria goes Saddam Hussein on Israel in retaliation.

BBC always sounds more serious. I like how they say "Cairo"

Assad knows if he drops a single missile, Damascus will be destroyed. Iran is the bigger issue for the Israelis.

  8. Why is it shocking the U.S. is cozy towards the Egyptian military? You think the military aid goes to line the pockets of generals?

    Killers of kids are evil.
    Kill them.
If more show up, kill them too.

And the waiting continues. If you're going to wait for a green light from either Congress or the United Nations, you're going to be waiting a long, long time.

Once upon a time presidents actually asked Congress to declare war when attacking another country.

Once upon a time, Congress actually tried to work with a president for the common good instead of playing obstructionist games at every turn in hopes of winning some distant election.

This Speaker and his cronies don't even look at facts. All they say is "whatever Obama's position, I'll take the opposite." Every freakin' time.
