    She was born in Windsor but grew up in Timmins from the age of two. Not sure she really falls into the category of a Detroit-area musician.

    I don't think Creed had a decade of success. They had three albums that had mainstream success. Don't think their comeback album was a success.

    Foghat rates down there.

    When I was in college, a graduating senior was giving away most of his rock albums (back in the days of vinyl), so he put about 50 of them in the dorm hallway and told us to grab whatever we wanted. Three days later, the Foghat albums were still there.

    Foghat and Humble Pie were two bands from the 70s that critics absolutely hated. Me? I kinda liked both of them.
