Oh, come on. You want a guy suspended for a "love pat?" What's Carrasco supposed to do? Stand there and let Olivo wind up and deck him? You want to suspend Pierzynski for protecting the pitcher? Please.

If Olivo (who, by the way, has his own set of character issues) just walks down the first base line, no one is suspended.

And yes, the bases were loaded, but they weren't down "42 fucking runs." They were down 6-0. Not quite an insurmountable deficit.

if they were scoring by NFL rules they would have been, dumbass.

If it were NFL rules, it would have been 42 points, not runs. And Ed Hochuli would have snapped somebody's neck.

OK. Just don't stand by A.J. Pierzynski. Might have to dodge a few fists.

Can we stop acting shocked when Ozzie puts voice to the fact that pitchers are required to retaliate on behalf of teammates? It's been an accepted part of baseball forever.

You want to see the beanballs fly, watch Yankees-Rangers tonight on the four-letter network.

If there were such a thing as the National Beanball Service, this would be a high-risk designator.

But, he did score MLB's 1,000,000th run...

When it comes to ordering his guys to hit people, Joe Girardi makes Ozzie Guillen look like a pacifist.

Please, let football bat's hunch be true. Maybe it'll finally sideline the head-hunting jerk.
