Having been through the cycle of dementia with my grandmother, shouldn't say this, but WTF: He can find Damon Bailey two or three more times.

This got me thinking of Pat Summitt.

Which got me thinking about her hornball son who impregnated one of his players.

He is now a high school assistant.

The head coach is the girl he impregnated, who is now Mrs Summitt.

Appeasing a writer is not a good quality. He’s a god damn bully, fuck him.

Is there a bigger scumbag in nature than the NCAA coach?
Other than the political class and beltway society, of course.

He never could adjust to the way adults changed, more than anything. How the world changed.

Players, he could still control, coach and/or bully. Once administrators started to step up to him - Knight thought and perhaps still thinks he's superior everyone, but especially administrators - he couldn't handle it.

Knight couldn't handle his peers. Other adults.

Knight wasn't a scumbag. Asshole? Yes. Bad guy? Oh, I think he became one, yeah. But he wasn't really a liar, he didn't cheat and he wasn't a politician. If anything, he had too many standards and couldn't handle others not meeting them.

The funny part was that, while he was seen as out of touch and his last 6 or 7 indiana teams weren’t as good, he made Texas Tech really really good.

And then handed it over to his son who, in truly Joey Meyer fashion, made them terrible.

He couldn’t meet the one big standard society expects of others, and that’s to not treat other people like shit.
