    Dylan has some horrible (Self Portrait) and mediocre stuff but I'd match his ten best songs against ANYBODY'S ten best.

    And "Like a Rolling Stone" is still the benchmark for all modern music since the mid 60s.

    At least he isn't playing the Casino circuit, and calling it the Subterranean Homesick Blues Tour.

    I'm surprised a certain person hasn't re-registered to tell us all how much Dylan blows and how Pink Fucking Floyd is the greatest group in the history of rock.

    Hurricane is about middleweight boxer Ruben Hurricane Carter. Gentleman Jim is James Gentleman Jim Corbett.

    If Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry hadn't existed, the Beatles are nowhere.

    If Dylan hadn't existed, Springsteen is nowhere.

    Influence is a big factor in art.
