I know I'm going to sound like an idiot, but what is the significance of blue font? I've seen it mentioned numerous times, but I have know idea what it means. That and the Fozzy picture.

It's supposed to indicate sarcasm (except when Pastor uses it).

I think it's a sign of intellectual laziness. Effective sarcasm shouldn't need a sign.

It denotes sarcasm, even though if you're good at sarcasm you shouldn't need a special font to let everyone know.

    Quite right.

He's a fan of that heathen soccer team from the bad part of Glasgow. Blue is the Rangers color.

Blue font sucks. One of the worst SJ developments since I've been here.

And what if you're using blue font sarcastically?

    Wouldn't that be a double-negative?

dudes, the thread title gave me a movie idea: "Blue Font" it would be witty, ascerbic, and goddamn biting in dialogue.

so, who would be a good lead male, female and role players? who directs?

jennifer anniston needs to be in it.

ok, let's get going on sj's first screenplay.
