    Sounds like a co-branded effort to compete with AP service. Which, given the brands involved, sounds like a good idea.

    Do they join up on other efforts if this works? Could it lead to a merger, or a purchase by Reuters?

    The Sulzbergers will never sell without a preceding 20 years of ugly in-family litigation. But a strategic alliance is certainly possible.

    The AdWeek article basically says that the future of journalism is having a business model in which actual journalism is subsidized by things that make money.

    In other words, same as it ever was.
