He's going to get quite a few applicants having posted this on Twitter.

    Here's his tweet: http://twitter.com/jimrome/status/14570121308

That's all the info I have.

I'm sure the "listing" would have included "have a take and don't suck," but that wouldn't fit into 140 characters.

Time for our semi-annual Jim Rome ad.

    See you again in November.

"Have a take and don't suck" is actually only 26 characters. Oh well.

I know we try to keep things straight here for the most part but this ad bothers me on several fronts. For example, is he really looking for people or just collecting resumes? For that matter, is there a job there? One would think that after all this time, the position would've been filled.

Valid points. Moving to freelance. I can kinda picture this "job" working that way too. Paid per take, if you will.

I meant in addition to what's already there.

Has anyone ever received a response to one of Rome's ads?

This is one of those jobs that would be so cool to have and I know that I could do it, but wonder if it is worth the effort of applying with 347 million others.

His entire platform - radio and TV - is all based in LA, right?

Why does Jim Rome have a Yahoo email? That always got me. I figured the ad wasn't real. Since this is his confirmed Twitter account, I guess there goes my theory.

    Too bad he still sucks.
