This just absolutely pisses me off. I bust my ass and make little while this prick gets kicked out of office and makes money off it. It makes me want to become a corrupt politician so I can get rich.

You don't get book deals because you can write books, you get book deals because you can sell books.

Exactly. Who is going to buy that book? If it has any news value, that will all be out before the book is even released. Is somebody really going to pay $30 for 400 pages worth of the horseshit he was trying to shovel on the Letterman show?

 

He won't write it anyway. It'll be a ghostwriter. You know the cable news network will promote the shit out of this thing and call it "news."

 

If he trashes certain people who people like to see trashed he will.

The publisher is Michael Viner, who also published Jayson Blair's 'How I Fucked Over the NYTimes but it was Totally Their Fault' (or something like that, can't recall the exact title) as well as books by Heidi Fleiss and OJ witness Faye Resnick. Quality stuff. Went out of business a few years ago amid a variety of lawsuits. This is a new venture, apparently, thus the name--Phoenix.
