    too bad black friday applies only to shit i don't need.

    i got a haircut today. regular price.
    the plumber came and fixed the toilet. no black friday discount.
    i filled up the gas tank. $3-fucking-16 a gallon.

    There are people who do believe they are actually saving money by shopping on Black Friday (vs. simply looking for things on sale throughout the year, beginning with ---hint, hint---Dec. 26 the previous year).

    Yeah, as a retailer I'm going to offer my lowest price of the year on a day I KNOW you'll be out frantically shopping. Hoo boy. :D
