Since it's in Dallas I don't understand why they aren't going with a shitty country act instead.

I also don't understand why they don't invite Night Ranger.

Anyone know if there are still Black Eyed Peas restaurants in the MetroPlex?

Wade Phillips is going to introduce them as they play "Let's Get Retarded."

Or Skid Row. I'd be awesome to hear Sebastian Bach's banshee wail...
    NO MONKEY BUSINESS!

Or how about Dave Matthews? That'd be a popular choice. They did play at NOLA before the Vikings-Saints dud of a game.

This is the debate I love. How many acts are in the pool they draw from for a Super Bowl gig?

They have to appeal to almost all demographic groups.
They can't be considered offensive or racy.
They have to be a huge act.

I'm guessing there aren't 20 bands that qualify and with that being taken into consideration, I think the Black Eyed Peas are a pretty good pick.

Still think an "Up with People " return would be well received.

Kenny Chesney was the perfect choice. How do you NOT select Chesney for this gig?
