    This is probably the most comprehensive NYC-tip thread around.

    jmacg, Boom, Ragu and others were money.

    I'll second Gray's on 6th and 8th. There's also a little sushi place on Sixth around there, too. Awesome shrimp appetizer. We did Katz's (as a matter of fact, I'm wearing the shirt, now), and while it was good, I don't know if it was worth the hassle. Waaaaaaaaaayy too crowded for me. But, that's all part of it, I guess. Great little pub called Blaggard's on 35th between 6th and 7th. 210 is the number, I think.

    There's also good seafood to be had on City Island.. at least I think that's the name of it. Fire Island? Dunno, something like that. Couldn't tell you which ones are the good ones.
