Billy Beane: Hall of Famer?

    Theo Epstein will get in if the Cubs win the World Series on his watch (not necessarily saying he will deserve it).

    What about Brian Cashman? Four WS titles and counting during his tenure. Are there any GMs with that many titles not in the Hall?

    William Bendix weeps over those last two posts. That being said...Reagan was never as big Pitt as an actor. He was really not that great.

    Ryan, terry was an old school scout with the mets pre Minnie. Within the mets organization, a good source told me that he was always the smartest guy in the room..unmarried into his 50's...total baseball. Source says totally not surprised at he success Ryan was/is as gm.

    Yeah. If you watch Moneyball you'd think that Ricardo Rincon and Scott Hattieburg were the main drivers behind Oakland's success.

    Off the table of my head Nick Swisher has been the most successful player that Beane
    drafted under the Money Ball parameters.
