    One more thing to consider:

The Colts left 24-31 points on the field. Flea-flicker should have been a touchdown. Ball that bounced off Tom Mitchell's shoulder pads in the end zone (and into the hands of a Jets DB) should have been a touchdown. Red-zone chances in the first quarter were botched.

In the second half they simply couldn't get the Jets' offense off the field and squandered what few chances they did get.

But if that game is played a week later, IMO it's Colts 31, Jets 13. About 18 points.

XXV. And thanks for that painful memory...

True, 'Nova was a lower seed than NC State, but the '83 final hooked me on college hoops. Purely on personal bias, I'd rank the Wolfpack higher on that list.

And no mention of Richmond over Syracuse?

  7. Well, that wasn't very nice (though it was funny).

I think Temple beating Michael Vick-led Virginia Tech at Virginia Tech a few years ago has to be up there.

Saw a VT/Temple game on ESPN Classic awhile back, when Vick was a freshman and the Hokies destroyed them. Was the upset after that one?

Yeah, it was at Va. Tech, one of Vick's last two years.
