Maybe she mistook you for a stylist.

I would have been tempted to write back and say, "If the kids are getting sno-cones after the game, they are getting their due."

I had someone (a mom I'm assuming, she said she had a kid on one of the teams) write and say that I was dressed like an "embarrassment" when I was out taking photos.
That really pissed me off. To go that low and tell someone they dress poorly, without signing your name. It's total chickenshit.
Apparently wearing slacks and a sweatshirt to a game is "embarrassing."
    please!

Look, I know photographers are crazy, but dress slacks and a sweatshirt is a weird combo.

What kind of shoes were you wearing?

Heh. Dockers. Today, for instance, I have on brown dockers, a blue and black wide-striped sweater/sweatshirt and my brown DC shoes.

I didn't know I had to be mr. en vogue to work here. Especially considering it's as far from any real culture as you can get. People suck sometimes, whatever.
I don't see anyone going to their job and telling them they dress poorly, though. Unless it's their boss.

So by "Dockers" you mean khakis?

There is quite a difference between a sweater and a sweatshirt, also. Which is it?
