I finally sat down and watched finale on demand and ill say this - what a steaming pile of horse shit. A fucking terrible ending to a show that started strong but turned into crap.

As someone mentioned - the way Bill died - by some random asshole - was the epitome of writers saying "we had no real plan or idea on how to wrap up the 1000 storylines surrounding this character so let's kill him"

Ben and the non-stripper get married? I see - so him saying "I miss you" apparently was enough to convince her he is not a polygamist?

Margene travels the world now? That's interesting considering that the bread winner is dead and so are his businesses. So how are they supporting all those kids abd houses?

About the only thing that was at least somewhat plausible was the euthanasia scene between bills parents. Touching.

I was really disappointed in this episode and really the last two seasons overall

Life insurance. Weber Gaming (while they may not be welcome at the casino, were they not still part-owners?)

And while they lost the business, they still had equity in the business. If you suddenly can't pay the remaining $10,000 mortgage on your $200,000 home and the bank forecloses, you may lose the home, but you still get $190,000. Same principle. Kind of.

And about those wonderful first two seasons . . .

Was it really plausible watching Margene so inept and immature that she couldn't buy a pair of black tights for Teenie and couldn't do the laundry and crawled into a fetal position when she saw Nikki and Bill screwing?

And was it really plausible how Nikki --- with no job and no credit history --- can obtain nine credit cards and ring up a $50,000 debt without anyone knowing about it?

Last season was in every respect a train wreck. But this past season did a good job of righting itself and focusing on the family again.
