Derby and Preakness winner hurt during workout at Aqueduct this morning.

Have no doubt he's hurt, but it's convenient that this happened after Curlin's
people have made it clear they were going to try to make a go of the Classic,
    even at SA.

I was kind of looking forward to Curlin beating him in the Classic. Too bad.

It's a sad state of affairs when I read the thread title, immediately assumed UPS was going under and was only moderately surprised by that thought.

Also wanted to see Curlin beat him, but did anybody really believe that match-up was going to happen?

I had thought the FEMA guy had already been sacked.

It would have created a lot of interest for the BC Classic, but now the day and a half is just a long streak of races no one except the hardcore racing fan cares about. I'll be at my neighborhood simulcasting facility regardless.

They're missing the obvious way to improve the ratings: get everyone who believes Obama's a muslim to watch and root against Sheik Makhtoum's horses.
