I'm hoping he slept with every other waitress at the Hooter's where Danielle worked.

"Our lease was up on our apartment anyway."

Yeah. Not a bitch at all.

Poor Nick. He'll probably have to go down on her 100 times before she even considers giving him a blowjob.

To be fair, guys, she is only 21. Any 21-year-old who tried to distance herself from Daddy Dearest would likely have some issues with the guy.

The part with the bf, I can't defend. But the way she talked about Dick, I can.

Sounded to me like a lot of those issues are exaggerated, though.

She says: "You were never there."
He says: "I was there. Just because we didn't live in the same house didn't mean I wasn't there. I was always around to do stuff."

That's loose paraphrasing but pretty much the gist.

But she would have been like, at the oldest, 17. Who makes perfect choices when they're 17? And what's "I was there" to a 40 year old is not "I was there" to a 17-year-old.

True. It's a matter of perspective, really.

From watching all the episodes, it really does seem like Dick wants to be a father, and a good one, but she's always pushed him away to not let him have the opportunity to do it.
