    I have a recently received a few 1500-ml bottles.

How do you store these? I don't have any cellar.

My parents store the bigger bottles of wine in dark places. They have a wine rack for the normal bottles. If you have a cabinet that is kept fairly cool (not directly next to the oven) it should work. When they're ready to drink, they chill them in the refrigerator or a cooler. Hope this helps.

No problem. My parents have been members of wine clubs for a few years. We learned a lot about wine storage because we didn't have a wine cellar either.

    Try? What's a try?

  7. Crate and Barrel often has large bottle wine racks as well as large decanters. Both of which can make nice wedding gifts. A trip to a Crate and Barrel can often be a fun thing to do on a honeymoon for those strapped for cash.

There are lots of good wineries around the town where I grew up. My parents love red wines. I prefer white. They joined a wine club while in San Francisco on vacation a few years ago. Each month, they got three bottles of wine and various high-end cheeses and relishes.
