If I was Blitzer, I'd be freaking out right now...

Siegel mentioned the same thing on All Things Considered yesterday.

    Not exactly earth-shattering.

Really? To get a personal message from someone of Bhutto's stature, just weeks before hre death. And to be told to keep it quiet. And to be one of only two to receive the message?

    I think it's pretty earth-shattering, indeed.

It wasn't exactly personal. It was sent to one of her spokespeople over here, and he forwarded it to Blitzer.

But she asked him to forward it to Blitzer.

Wouldn't that be like if I emailed Sportschick and said, "Send this to IJAG?"
    Wouldn't that be personal?

Why would you ever want to talk to either? They both suck.

The other recipient was a congressman called Israel.

  11. Why do we park in a driveway and drive on a parkway?

Let me be the naive jackass and imply that she sent him that to let Wolf know in general that things are still dicey over there, whether she's alive or dead.
