    It's a long read -- an hour or more -- but definitely worth every frickin' minute.

    This is the kind of stuff newspapers should do more of. In depth reporting on an issue. Sure, we hear and read about different crimes taking place here and there, but what happens "after." You can read dozens of crime briefs, but something like this will stick with you. It's the difference of seeing the forest, instead of just a buch of trees.
