Beyonce will be on SI Swimsuit cover

They do that every year now. It's like they've just given up and said "Here, they're naked."

 

To me, the appealing thing about Beyonce's body has always been its realness. Hips and thighs that are fuller... certainly by Hollywood's standards... in comparison to her boobs. But there's something really fresh and sexy about her curves. You can see it in the 'Crazy in Love' video:



But on the SI cover, they've airbrushed her and side-positioned her into cookie-cutterdom.

 

Beyonce is really good looking but she always seems to be packaged and presented like some perfect bombshell.

 

Beyonce is no Mariah Carey. But that's just me.

 

The swimsuit issue hasn't been relevant in well over a decade...

 

Fuck that. Yeah, she's smoking hot, but Marisa Miller should be on the cover. She should have been last year as well.

 

Maybe not in the big picture, but I've got a 13-year-old son. So it's relevant in Chez Noveliste

Not my place to tell you how to raise a kid, novelist, but at this point, I say just move the kids on to soft-core porn by the time they hit their teens.

Get it out of their systems.

Then again, I'm not a parent.

Just flipped through the issue...there's a group of beyonce shots that look like her--sort of soft and round--and on the next page she has a completely different body--completely chiseled via airbrush. So dopey.

And the Reilly page is the dumbest waste of space I've ever seen.
