    The context here is that the founder and chairman of the official pizza of the alt right was griping that people were criticizing him for his whining about NFL players. ("If Col. Sanders could use the N word without repercussions, why can't I be insensitive?") Seems like an especially stupid thing to say on a conference call that has been necessitated by your insensitivity. If he were anything but the Trumpist and University-6 jerk that he is, he'd have been contrite.

    The funny part is that the conference call was intended to coach him up, to teach him not to say inflammatory things. He was playing devil's advocate and made things far worse.

    Poppa John's stock immediately went up when he resigned.
