It's tough times for chain pizza places.

Thoughts and prayers for Trumpists in their search for new pizza.

Is Memories still open or did the government shut it down?

I have to think that just getting him out of the day to day operations, and removing him as the face of the brand will not be enough.

They're going to need a full re-brand, which is treacherous, but seems less risky than doing nothing.

If they're going to do this, they ought to get moving on it fast.

And, do they play it safe, and just change the name to something like Papa's Pizza, or do they totally change it?

Rebrand to PJ's (leave the Pizza out of it, because you sell so much other stuff) and go for it.

This thread led me to finding out there's a magazine devoted to pizza called Pizza Marketing Quarterly.

I really went into the wrong area of print journalism.

Change the name to Papa's Pizza and hire this guy as new spokesmurf:

    Not bad.

Especially since "Papa's Pizza" or even just "Papa's" leads us pack to John, who is the papa.

    They need a clean break.

Eh, memories are short. I don't think I'd worry about using 'Papa.'

Of course there is a Papa's Pizza in South Jersey, and it's my favorite.
At least it is since Attilio's closed down.
