Could there be a better one than Tom Lehrer's "Fight Fiercely, Harvard"?

    I think not.

For those who don't know them, here are the lyrics:

Fight fiecely, Harvard. Fight! Fight! Fight!
    Demonstrate to them our skill
Oh, be it they possess the might
    Nontheless, we have the will

How we will celebrate our victory
We shall invite the whole team out for tea
    (How jolly)
Hurl that speroid down the field
    And fight! Fight! Fight!

    Fight fiercely Harvard
    Fight! Fight! Fight!
Impress them with our prowess, do.
Oh fellas, do not let the Crimson down
Be of stout heart and true

C'mon chaps, fight for Harvard's glorious name
Won't it be peachy if we win the game"
    (Oh goody)
Let's try not to injure them
    But fight, fight, fight
    (Let's not be rough, though)
    Fight, fight, fight
    (and do fight fiercely)
    Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!

Any song the tells "chaps" to "c'mon" immediately loses.

    The "o o o o o .... o o o o o ... o o o o o ... o o .. o o" song Penn State co-opted (I have no idea what the name of it is) during the White Out against Ohio State last year sounded great in College Station.

And it was completely ripped off from the New England Patriots.

Fort Hays State's unofficial fight song is In Heaven There Is No Beer. I know the band used to play it after touchdowns. I don't know if they still do.

In Heaven there is no beer
That's why we drink it here
And When we're gone from here
All our friends will be drinking all our beer

In Heaven there is no wine
Lets drink til we feel fine
And When it comes our time
All our friends will be drinking all our wine

In Heaven there is no drink
At least thats what we think
    And When we go ca-plink
All our friends will be drinking all our drink

In Heaven there is no beer
That's why we drink it here
And When we're gone from here
All our friends will be drinking all our beer

In Heaven there is no beer
Let's stay and Drink it here
And When our friends aren't here
We will be drinking all their beer

It's fitting since Hays is home to just about the craziest October Fest this side of Munich.

I don't think there is a better football fight song than the one at MIT. Love the creativity here, but you may have to remember your math to appreciate it.

And when we get together, we do the Beaver call.

Michigan Tech has several of them, that, the Copper Country Anthem and another one to the Battle Hymn of the Republic -- the 23rd verse of which consists entirely of the phrase "We are"

Am I the only person who thinks that The New Orleans Saints should use "When the saints go marching in" as their fight song?
