No lyrics, but the theme to Wild Wild West always gets me pumped up

China Beach & Wonder Years are a little bit cheating - like saying Forrest Gump is the best soundtrack ever. In that category, I'd add the short lived Doctor Doctor.

In addition to the many good ones here, I'd add:

MacGyver (an officemate has it on her phone, cheers me up every time she gets a call)
    St. Elsewhere
Hunter (I think I remember liking it, but can't remember it right now)
and in the most obscure reference yet,
    Hooperman.

    Welcome Back Kotter
    Cheers
    The Simpsons
    Gilligan's Island (for nostalgia)
    Laverne and Shirley (see Gilligan)

The theme to Seinfeld, while it didn't have any lyrics, might be one of the most recognizable theme songs in all of sitcom television.

In no particular order: Cheers, Wonder Years, Duck Tails, Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers, Saved by the Bell, Picket Fences, CHiPS, Dinosaurs, Wings, Scrubs, Entourage, 24, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama. I'm sure there are more, just cant think of them.

Of course I must nominate WKRP in Cincinnati.

Can't believe Hill Street Blues has only been mentioned once.

    Maybe the world is blind,
    Or just a little unkind.
    Don't know.

    Seems you can't be sure
    Of anything anymore.
    Although,

    You maybe lonely and then,
    One day you're smiling again.
    Every time I turn around,
I see the girl that turns my world around.
    Standing there...

    Every time I turn around,
Her spirit's lifting me right off the ground.
    What's gonna be?
Guess we'll just wait and see.

    Well . . .that's pretty redneck-y, isn't it?

    "Just a good old boys?"

There's two of them. Dumb Waylon Jennings.
