Love these two about a zillion times better than the current ones with black worked in where it wasn't needed:

New England Patriots- jerseys and helmets. San Diego Chargers Helmets.

The 1980s San Francisco 49ers unis, 60s Detroit Lions unis. Early 90s Philly Eagles Jerseys.

'Beetus, when Detroit unveiled their current duds -- and I do mean DUDS -- one of our posters guessed that Matt Millen's kids had "designed" the changes with a Magic Marker.

    The best Denver uniform ...

I've always liked the 1980s Jets duds.

This thread's been done before, but it's cool, so I'll nominate some faves.

Early 70s Eagles. Couldn't find a shot of their kelly green jerseys.

The 70s Cowboys' blues were awesome.

    Love the Browns' orange pants.

Why the Redskins are fascinated with their racist current logo and don't go with this classic helmet is anyone's guess. The road whites don't really do this uni justice, but they look uber-sharp in the maroon.

I was deeply disappointed when I covered a Redskins game the year they wore these as a throwback, but they didn't wear the day I was there.

I'll also give my support to Trey and his 80s Jets suggestion. Also, the Broncos' orange crush and the Bucs' dreamsicles are long overdue for a return.

Why keep it to the NFL? I submit the Orlando Thunder of the WLAF....Lime Green uniforms, a Thunder cloud and Lightning bolt on the helmet.

From the CFL, the Hamilton Ti-Cats

The logo and helmet are cool; can't say the same about those ugly-ass jerseys.

The new, so-called updated Vikings jerseys are horrid.

The Oilers throwbacks were near flawless for authenticity.
