Ha! I had to cut and paste that, but that's exactly the logo I thought of when I jumped on this thread.

I ever see a hat or a shirt with that logo and it is MINE.

I'd kill just to find a pic online of someone actually wearing that jersey or hat.

Between the uni and the baseball card company--not to mention the can't-manage-his-money-for-shit Jack Clark--that's like the World Series of suck right there.

    Those were pretty cool.

So, exactly how many color schemes have the White Sox gone through? They've changed colors more often than probably any of the surviving pre-1953 teams.

The red-white pinstripes of the 60s gave way to the black/white Bermuda shorts uniforms of the 70s. IIRC, they added light blue/powder blue to the mix at some point. Didn't they use navy in the pre-WWII days?

Then, it went from black & white to red/white/blue (those hideous "SOX" bars) in the 80s, to black/white in the middle of their final year at old Comiskey when the black/silver Raiders/LA Kings/gangwear fad was going on. (IIRC, they started that year with red/white/blue and switched to black/white by the end).

Then there was the "curly-Q" C on the cap for a couple of seasons in the late 1980s, which they got rid of because they got sued by Campbell's ...
