Best team verticals on newspaper sites

    I'm looking for ideas for a vertical on our site devoted to a BCS-level team with a strong following in our market.

    Who does this well to you guys? Birmingham is good. Knoxville and Austin are good. Who else?

    And for the papers who do it well, what do you like about what they do?

    I know it's sort of an odd time to be looking for these things -- halfway through a football season -- but hey, fiscal year's coming to an end and everybody is screaming for the next thing now. Just the way it goes...

    Pro sports verticals are welcome too.
