    NY/NJ/LISportsJournalists.com will appreciate this...

If you want to visit the Tri-State Area's most unappealing strip club, Wiggles in Rego Park, Queens, might be up your alley. You have to be 18 and there's a $10 cover for the privilege of possibly leaving the gentlemen's establishment with tetanus and a court date. They don't serve booze at Wiggles, therefore you can't forget the image of having Estelle Getty and Charlotte Ray grind on your junk. On Saturday nights, if you're lucky, you could get to see Chyna and Courtney Love take turns going down on each other while Nirvana wails in the background. Luckily, St. John's Hospital on Queens Boulevard is only a five minute drive from Wiggles. And all bodegas serve alcohol. Since it's literally two steps from a subway station (R and/or G train to 63rd drive station), there's no hope of getting hopelessly lost in the world's most ethnically diverse city. And added plus is that there's a Pizza Hut not two storefronts away.

Whoa! I'm relatively new to the area. What's this law about alcohol and nudity?

Just looking for something to help us forget about our wives and jobs for a few hours. Not interested in getting shot or hepatitis.

Yeah, but speakeasies aren't around anymore.

We have winner! Haven't been there (or any other such establishments) in years, but that place was pretty good. BYOB.

East Newark used to have a couple of fun places.

I'd watch out for the Long Island City places -- always got the feeling that it was even money that you would get shot going to your car.

They were all shut down for prostitution. They have since had the buildings knocked down and either converted to apartments or just a flat strip of land.

The real issue is the laws, as Spnited pointed out. If they are serving alcohol, they can't get naked. You'll get girls dancing in bathing suits.

If you go to a juice bar, just bring with you a six-pack and you'll be all set. Most places do require you to buy a drink as well, despite the fact that it is a small cup of soda.

A titty bar in Audubon??? The place you speak of was in Lawnside and has long since closed. Delilah's is still there outside AC. Then there's the Fantasy Show Lounge in Mt. Ephraim, the big white building with the black letters.

    Just googled these:
    http://www.stripclublist.com/y.asp?s=NJ
    http://www.gentlemansclubguide.com/new_jersey_strip_clubs.asp

(be careful, most times a NSFW picture appears on either site)
