From Weed High School, in a town near Mt. Shasta in Northern California:

    "Weed High
    Is the best High
    Is the best High
    Around."

    And repeat.

    Yes. Great song

ECW, ECW was one of the best. i remember my buddy always got a kick
out of it and said when Scott Stevens lays someone out imagine if everyone
    yelled NHL, NHL.

someone mentioned the roll call at Yankee Stadium. that's pretty good, but
the bleachers are not what they used to be.

    one of the best was

Amos Otis, Amos Otis (or whoever the opposing CF is)
Amos Otis is a horses ass
    He's a penis
    He sucks the meanest penis
Amos Otis is a horses ass

and Amos Otis takes it up the ass do da do da

the Potvin sucks one is a classic.
pretty sure they also used to say Beat your wife Potvin Beat your wife

At a playoff basketball game tonight, the opposing crowds were actually cooperating on a "we've got spirit, how about you?" chant. It was awful.

That occurred at halftime of my game Saturday. After about 5 rounds, the home team won the battle, after which the visitors responded with 'Scoreboard!' by virtue of their 31-22 lead.

Heard a couple new ones tonight at the NEC Championship game between Robert Morris and Mount St. Mary's.

Mount calls a timeout, accidentally sends six players out onto the court and tries to start play again. They attempt to call a timeout, but are eventually assessed a technical. Chants of "You can't count!" rain down.

RMU fans also got on the Mount cheerleaders pregame with chants of "Smells like tuna."

Being a Red Wings fan, I hate it...but's it's nice to hear the rivalry brews on:

Wings fans: "Let's Go Red Wings"
    Blackhawks fans: "DETROIT SUCKS!"

Actually, any chant in hockey superceeds any other sports chant in my book.

I can never decide if it's cool or lame when the "De-troit sucks" chant starts at every single game, regardless of who they are playing.

When my alma mater was in the CAA, we used to chant that when we played Mason. ;)

Speaking of CAA schools, JMU's student section would chant "81 South! 64 East!" whenever they beat a Richmond area school and "81 North! 66 West!" when they beat a school from Nova or DC.

I always like the Peter Crouch chant when he played for Liverpool:

    He's tall
    He's Red
His feet stick out the bed.

The Cantona chant at Old Trafford, which is still heard:

What a friend we have in Jesus
    he`s a saviour from afar
What a friend we have in Jesus
    and his name is Cantona
Ooh Aah Cantona, Ooh Aah Cantona

During a UH-Rice hoops game at Autry Court it is not uncommon to hear the Rice students chant "No Big Words, No Big Words, No Big Words!!!!" at the UH huddle during a timeout.
