  9. I shot 84 despite leaking bogeys on all five of the finishing holes. Rockbottom dipped into the triple digits. HA!

    Wouldnt that be climbed rather than dipped, unless he usually shoots in the four figures, I mean...?
     
  11. His effort was a low point, therefore I believe he dipped. But climbed is applicable, so is "shamefully scored so poorly that it took three pencil strokes to record his final score."
