Might not be as good. The ones around Pittsburgh were usually about the same, but I tried one in the middle of the state was very disappointing.

Lutefisk is awful! (Don't tell my mom I said that.)

Hotdish is, well, hotdish. It's a given. It's part of reality.

The Hot Brown, A Louisville original. If you've never had one, you are missing out.

Also, the cheeseburger was supposdly invented at Kaelin's restaurant in Louisville.

Not sure how regional Firehouse Subs is, but I've eaten there three times and have yet to be less than amazed. Probably my favorite sub shop.

I've heard many good things about Firehouse Subs.

Golden Eagle syrup. I've only found it in and around Alabama. It's a mixture of honey, molasses and corn syrup.

If there's one in your area, check it out. Another cool thing about the place is that along the counter, which is about 20 feet long, is a whole slew of hot sauces. Probably about 100 different kinds. I spent about five minutes just looking through them. Pretty cool.

Joe T. Garcia's salsa, available at finer grocers around Texas. I bring back a case everytime I go back.

    Really?

From my experience, there's no difference between a Sheetz in Morgantown or one in Murrysville.

(Now I want a bacon Shmuffin, dammit)
