Best QB "Second Acts"

    With Manning set to begin another chapter, was thinking of qbs who left where they initially made their name.

    Figure Montana, Doug Williams and Kurt Warner are at the top. Plunkett didn't start right away in Oakland and was relatively young.

    Jim Plunkett was the first overall pick in 1971 ans was a starter in New England and San Francisco before complete and total career meltdown. His 80s revival with the Raiders is definitely high on this list. Pretty sure there were a few years in the late 70s when Plunkett didn't play a down.

    Unitas was cut by the Steelers and playing semi-pro when Ewbank gathered him up for the Colts a year later, right? Or is that just Act I Scene ii?
