I vote for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

 

Of the ones I saw here's my list:

1. Once
2. Into the Wild
3. Hot Fuzz
4. No Country for Old Men
5. Knocked Up

 

I've only heard of two of those movies. And I prefer my limes clean-shaven.

 

I caught The Lookout on a plane back from Brazil a few months ago... very pleasantly surprised by it, especially considering Joseph Gordon-Levitt was in the lead role.

Knocked Up was horribly overrated.

 

I agree with your comment on Knocked Up. I thought Superbad was much better, as far as Apatow goes.

No, no, no. Superbad was nowhere near as good as Knocked Up. I saw Superbad the other night and I cringed through most of it. It was down right embarrassing.

 

Apatow wrote Knocked Up. He did not write Superbad.

Both were hilarious, but Knocked Up was better, in my opinion. Knocked Up "got it" more than Superbad.

 

Great call. I happened to pick up the DVD recently out of the used bin strictly because I felt like buying something. I'm glad I did.

I did the same thing with Perfume and was equally surprised.

Oh, and I can't forget about Thumbed Vaginas 2: Hitch Hiking the Hymen.

 

Superbad was awful.

 

2007 was the Year of McLovin.

Yes, I'd give my Oscar to Superbad. Absolutely terrific...hilarious, entertaining, fun, touching, real.

Of course I'm 19. So I "got" it, and could certainly understand why some of you older folks don't.
