I think I will wait to see Diamond, Dreamgirls and Letters before I vote.

    Right now, though, it's:

    1. Casino
    2. United 93
    3. Little Miss Sunshine
    4. The Departed
    5. The Queen

  2. Thank You For Smoking is still my favorite.

Saw III---In a movie year chalk full of krap, this was the only one I feel like I wasn't getting sodomized after I left.

I'm way behind on my movies, but I loved V for Vendetta, Inside Man, and Thank You For Not Smoking.

Didn't see a single movie in the theater, other than Cars, which I enjoyed in 2006. Not one.

I felt like I was during it, though. Worst movie experience of my life -- even worse than Jumpin' Jack Flash.

I think I'm going to go through 2006 without seeing a movie in a theater, which might be a first.

I think marriage yanks a lot of men out of the theaters. It's a phenomenon - women just don't seem to be into flicks as men. Maybe I'm generalizing. I know that when I was single, I saw probably a movie a week at the theater. Now? We went last week, and I looked at my previous stub, and it had been five months.

I remember early on in our relationship, I said, "You want to go to a movie this weekend?"

She said, "But we just did that three weeks ago!"
