All the Jeff Spicoli/Michael Phelps jokes got me to thinking, who were some of the best movie stoners of all time? Spicoli probaby runs away with No. 1, but who else fills out the list? I also think you have to make an allowance for crackheads, like Chris Rock's "Pookie" in New Jack City.

I know this is very recent, but I'm feeling that James Franco's Saul in "Pineapple Express" is going to stand up pretty well.

A small part, but Jon Stewart was fantastic in "Half Baked." "You ever look at the back of a $20 bill? You ever look at the back of a $20 bill...ON WEED?"
  4. Slater from Dazed and Confused.

    Cheech and Chong.

    7. The Pineapple Express cats.
    8. Jeff Spicoli.
    9. Carl Spangler, Caddyshack. (For the one scene where he grew his own.)

Honorable mention: Rosenberg and Goldstein, the two Harold and Kumar movies.
