Watching Apollo 13 for the whothehellknows how manyth time........the ending of this movie never gets old.

And it never fails to get a little bit dusty when everyone at NASA celebrates.

    The Hangover would qualify.

Always liked the sense of dread in the French Connection ending.

The last 20 minutes of "The Shawshank Redemption" are pretty tough to top.

As for as the final scene, few seconds? "Fight Club" takes the cake.

greatest tribute above for a movie in which EVERYONE knows (or should) how it will end yet ron howard still pulled it off with all the drama and suspense and payoff.

agree on 'usual suspects.' 'the sting' is right up there. greatest last freeze frame goes to 'butch cassidy and the sundance kid.' (full admission: robert redford as 'sundance' was my first 'man-crush;' i was 12 and it was the first time an actor struck me as being over-the-top handsome yet cool at the same time).

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels has a pretty good ending for a light comedy.

Almost Famous. Love it that the kid finally scored the interview, and the look on Russell's face when he knows what is going on is outstanding.

    Godfather is the all-timer, however.

Bad News Bears. Just when you think its going to end like all other sports movies - it doesn't.
