Went with No Quarter. Trippy song that was way ahead of its time.

I remember seeing No Quarter on some list of "Best songs to listen to when high"

Some great choices here but for me it's still gotta be "Rock And Roll" featuring one of the great intros ever. That's a "turn this mother to 11" song if I've ever heard one.

Others: "In The Evening" (good to see a little love for "Carouselambra"), "Black Dog", "Ozone Baby" and "Good Times, Bad Times".

Best Plant solo: "Burning Down One Side".

Anyone buy the tribute album they had out some years back? Man, that thing sucked.

    When the Levee Breaks

drums from God, Guitars that go nowhere and everywhere, and a harmonica solo that sounds like it was thrown in a tornado. I imagine this is what the depression sounded like.

Zeppelin trivia: Which late-night talk show host used "Nobody's Fault But Mine" as the intro music to his show?

I actually considered voting for Carouselambra, just to gauge the reaction . . .

I love Carouselambra, especially the first third of the song, but I know others hate it.

I would've voted for it. But hell, I would've considered "Bonzo's Montreux," too, so my views aren't exactly Zep mainstream.

Oh, I forgot "Hot Dog". Can't believe some country guy hasn't taken that to the top of the charts.

Led Zep were great -- and they were thieves. Here's a list of all the songs and riffs they stole carte blanche:

    http://www.warr.org/zep.html

The list doesn't include "When the Levee Breaks," a ripoff of Kansas Joe McCoy and Memphis Minnie's song of the same name about the Great Mississippi Flood of 1927.

Admittedly, they were damn good at thieving. They only stole the best.

    It's very Rush-esque.
