Best Hot Dogs

"Encased-meat aficionados." Gahhhh.

 

I was there - speedskating oval at Kearns - and we got pretty damned sick of having hot dogs after a couple of weeks, good as they were.

 

Chilli on a dog just makes me think of a Cleveland Steamer.

 

My kids are vegetabletarians and so we had a pack of veggie dogs at a cookout once. Once.

I swear I dropped one on the deck and the dog - she was on standby in case anything tasty got dropped - just sniffed it and looked back up at me like, "What the hell is that? You don't eat that, do you?"

 

Don't anybody else Google this. Trust me on that.

 

I thought this was general knowledge...I mean, it's a running joke on Ferguson. So, for that matter...don't google Rusty Trombone.

 

Yeah, I Googled those phrases the first time I saw them on SportsJournalists.com, and then I forgot.

Common knowledge isn't always a good thing.

 

I absolutely consider myself this. I may use it on my Twitter profile.

 

I guess "weiner wonks," though simpler, doesn't have the same panache.
