Best Hot Dogs

What Shockey said. Settle down, Beavis.

Why the hate toward Hebrew National? Get a bad dog one day?

It's the best hot dog I've had. Nothing else I've had -- of the three-plus-dozen dogs I've had from around the country -- is close. Can we chalk that up to Birdscribe's opinion and move on, Mmmkay?

I'm not worked up about anything. Hebrew National is probably in my top 3 favorites.

I just find it humorous when there's a thread that's clearly a personal preference-type of "favorite", where there's no right or wrong answer, and invariably someone weighs in with answer like "End. Of. Thread. ... There is no comparison ... There is no better dog (or whatever). Period."

Those aren't phrases that make you think they are saying, "My personal favorite or my personal preference is ..." It's more along the lines of "This is the best, and if you don't agree, you're wrong. Now move along."

It's the same "dog" as the one in the earlier photo. This is my photo.

    It was really good.

For store-bought dogs, it's Hebrew National.

For my fellow NJ-ites... no mention or love for The Windmill hot dogs?

For my fellow members of the tribe - you'll get a laugh out of this one. At an Einstein bagel near me their regular hot dogs are simply marked as 100% beef. Their premium hot dogs are marked as Hebrew Nationals with asiago cheese.
(Side note - I do not go to Einstein bagels for bagels, I've got a fantastic local bagel shop for that)
