One of these years, I WILL go to my family Christmas party dressed as Cousin Eddie, complete with the fake black turtleneck visible beneath the white sweater.

So there are three Christmas Carols on this list but not the one with Alastair Sim (1951)? The man was put on this planet for one reason - to play Scrooge.

And this thread does not deserve a major award, unless it's the Epic Fail Award, for forgetting "A Christmas Story."

What was the name of the Lone Ranger's nephew's horse?

Surprised at so few votes for Die Hard. It's all the Christmas I'll ever need.

One of my favourite and grossly underrated Xmas movies is "One Magic Christmas" with Mary Steenburgen as a woman who hates Xmas and, of all people, Harry Dean Stanton as the angel Gideon who shows her the way.

NIce and warm and fuzzy without being unbearably sappy.

Also one of the first roles for six year old Sarah Polley.

And mostly filmed in Double J Land (Owen Sound, Meaford & Collingwood, Ontario)

And leaving a "AChristmas Story" off this list is like leaving The Godfather off the top ten American movies of all time.

Except Christmas Vacation. It never gets old. I think I can quote it verbatim. And irritate every single person who might be watching it with me.
