hondo sure has picked a conservative collection of Christmas classics.

Nice that he got some Technicolor films in there, though.

No mention of "The Family Man," either. Might not be a "classic," but deserving of a spot somewhere on the list.

Clark: Where do you think you're going? Nobody's leaving. Nobody's walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas. No, no. We're all in this together. This is a full-blown, four-alarm holiday emergency here. We're gonna press on, and we're gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny fucking Kaye. And when Santa squeezes his fat white ass down that chimney tonight, he's gonna find the jolliest bunch of assholes this side of the nuthouse.

If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more surprised than I am now Christmas Vacation didn't make the cut.

Other's got this thing in the bag.

Can't touch Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation. Oh how I do miss the days when Christmas Story was played throughout the month of December on TV. Now they just cram it into one day. That's not as fun.

In the rare foreign shit nobody saw department: 2005's Joyeux Noel was spectacular. It's about the Christmas Eve truce during WWI when French, German and British soldiers put down the weapons for a few hours and participated in a bit of civil celebration. Very moving stuff if you can handle some subtitles.
