Since Love, Actually was not on there, I went for It's a Wonderful Life. After owning the VHS all my life, I finally watched it last year and friggin BAWLED when it was over.

Also, why is Christmas Vacation not on this list? I also don't mind The Santa Clause (watched it again last night, I'm a big Tim Allen fan) and Home Alone. I'll take Christmas movies in any form, basically. As long as they don't involve Arnold Schwartznegger.

    The Star Wars Holiday Special

(allegedly the entire thing, fellow Jedi)

Although from that list, I'd put down Miracle on 34th Street, which I adore.

Hondo, I think Love, Actually should be on your list.

I love It's a Wonderful Life and have seen it more times than I can remember. To me it is the best Christmas movie of all time. Howeve rmy wife does not like old movies and the 12 year old resists getting into anything Black and White so Elf has become the Christmas movie in our house.

How is A Christmas Story not on this list?

That gets my vote. I can't remember a Christmas where I haven't watched this movie at least a dozen times.

Ralphie and Scott Farkus are going to kick your your ass for putting "A Christmas Story" in the "Other" category.

    Egregious omission from the list:

A Christmas Story ... hands down!

I consider it a holiday movie since it's weird to watch it during other seasons: Home Alone.

Three versions of Christmas Carol but all the Miracles are lumped together?
