Best Girl Scout Cookie

Had I known what I know now back when I was single, I'd have taken a box of Thin Mints with me on every first date.

The way to a woman's ... um, err ... heart ... is with Thin Mints.

They are powerless to resist.

Samoas, and those three things are why I like them a lot.

 

Samoas, also known as God's cookie. The wife bought one box from someone at work and we (mostly I) cleaned those things out in about a day. Yesterday I was on my way to an assignment and spied a couple of Girl Scouts who had set up a table outside a drug store. They might as well have been selling crack. I made a U-turn, pulled up right in front and bought two more boxes of Samoas.
Today, I saw a couple of other places where they had set up shop but didn't stop. I'm wondering if I should stock up now, and buy five or 10 boxes.

 

I'd do dirty things to that cookie. Well, I'd think about it. I'm not eating used sex-ware. Not my own, at least.

 

When I sold GS cookies, they were $2 a box. What are they now, like $4? $5?

 

Yeah, I saw that somewhere. Mint chip ice cream is my favorite, and I bet Thin Mint ice cream is amazing.

Thin Mints remind me of the old George Carlin bit: "You ever eat a box of cookies? I mean, an entire box of cookies? Just eat a fuckin' box of cookies standing over the kitchen sink staring at the electric clock on the wall?"

 

Only if you pay for them. I generally mug the cookies off them.

 

Amazingly, still only $3. Quite the bargain for an extra 10 pounds of gut fat.

 

Thin Mints are a timeless classic. The best way to eat Thin Mints are in a bowl of vanilla ice cream, topped with chocolate fudge.
