Spike from Buffy? He burned up in on eof hte final scenes when he had that amulet on and was killing all the vampires with it, and the light got to him.

Good call on Private Pyle, and the barbed wire in great Escape.

I can't believe this thread has gone 3 pages and no mention of The Wild Bunch. Slow motion carnage like no other.

I had the same thought, except he wasn't in the movie. Crothers died in 1986. His voice work as Jazz in the cartoons was actually his final acting credit.

    Staying with the sci-Fi division:
Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer's character) in Blade Runner

Steve McQueen? He didn't die in that scene.

    Mr Gloves,

Not the motorcycle chase scene, much earlier in the movie.

That is Archibald Ives, flight officer, in the barbed wire at the POW camp. (Angus Lennie played him.)

Ashley-Pitt's death scene on the railroad tracks was pretty grim. (David McCallum's character.)

    YHS, etc

    In the "temporary" death department....

Jean Grey in X2: X-Men United

Hey, it fit the character (see linked cartoon from Newgrounds)
