    The deaths of the Corleone brothers in Godfathers I and II. The more famous, of course, is the graphic shooting of Sonny. Fredo's death in II, however, is haunting. You don't see him die, but hear the gunshot echo across the lake and then see Michael sitting on the bank.

    Eastwood smoking Angel Eyes while giving Tuco a gun that's not loaded at the faceoff ending "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." Best scene in movie history. It's a great death scene, punctuated when Eastwood shoots Angel Eyes' hat and pistol into the grave with him.
